Hey guys.

We had an assignemnt for a ride against cancer. We were instructed to make a postcard (4 x 6), and illustrate a cover for it.

I had trouble coming up with an idea for my design. Then I came across quite a few typography posters and loved them all. So i decided to make my own. My original idea was to have a bike riding down a road, all in typography. But that didn't work out so well, The bike didn't turn out exactly as I wanted it. So I changed my idea. I came up with an idea for a girl surrounded by insipiring words.

This week, Leif gave us a postcard assignment. We are supposed to use a currrent peice of artwork, and create a promotional postcard for ourselves. I chose to use my laptop skin, because it is simple and is kinda punchy. I kept the back very simple, and clean.

Hey all.

I was charged with the making of a skin for my computer at the beginning of the semester. I contimplated, and came up with many many ideas, but none would stick. Untillll, i found an awesome light effect tutorial. So I took that tutorial, and worked with it, and did my own.

I started in Illustrator to do the line work, it was just so much easier. Then I brought it into photoshop and eddited away. I think it came out quite cool.

So I finally finished my illustration for class. Well I finished it yesterday, just uploading it now I should say.

I decided to target comic/movie fans. It is a reproduction of Rorschach from Watchmen. No Copyright infringement intended, this is just a project for school.

I was recently assigned a project to do something for illustration friday. Its a forum, where artists log on and they assign them something new to draw each week. This weeks was 'Wilderness'.

Mine isn't exactly a drawing, but i really like how it turned out.
